With Dallas having such a glaring need at running back, the Heisman runner-up Jeanty has been the favorite to be picked by the Cowboys in the first round.

Despite nearly breaking the mark for the most rushing yards in a single season in college football history, Boise State's Ashton Jeanty has dropped in the latest 2025 NFL Draft projection.

Two of the biggest free agent moves ahead of the 2024 NFL season involved running backs. Saquon Barkley signed with the Philadelphia Eagles and Derrick Henry signed with the Baltimore Ravens. Those signings worked out very well;

The Denver Broncos are going to need to add to the running back position this offseason and while the free-agent market could provide some answers, the NFL Draft is loaded with potential at the position this year.
