The Detroit Lions' preseason training camp continued in Allen Park Saturday with an 8:30 a.m. practice appropriately dubbed 'Back Together Weekend' as Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone returned to practice.
Anzalone, one of the first free agents signed by Campbell and Holmes during the 2021 offseason, has been one of the team's most reliable players during its meteoric rise. He hit his first extended stretch of injury woes this past season, when he broke his arm during a Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Detroit Lions held a visit with free-agent linebacker Kyzir White, which is particularly interesting given the situation with linebacker Alex Anzalone, who is unhappy with his contract.
Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone did not participate in Sunday’s practice, and he’s not set to be on the field Monday, either.
