Nick Mohammed has softened the blow of having to move the dates of his tour by hinting that Ted Lasso season 4 is the reason for rescheduling. The comedian, who plays Nate Shelley on the beloved Apple TV+ series, took to X last week to announce he'd have to reschedule some dates of his Show Pony tour.

Well, with Lasso back home in Kansas, it seems very much like the show will focus on life at AFC Richmond without him. After all, when a fourth season was tipped last August, we learned that three major stars — Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift — had had their contracts renewed.

The statement that has fans assuming filming of the new season is imminent came from Nick Mohammed, who played AFC Richmond's ambitious assistant coach Nate Shelley in the show. The actor teased his return to Ted Lasso in a video while announcing rescheduled dates for his Show Pony comedy tour.

Either Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed is swerving a whole lot of people or he dropped a ten-ton tease that Season 4 news was on its way.

In October 2024, Apple TV aficionado Sigmund Judge posted on X.com that season 4 of "Ted Lasso" would enter pre-production in January. Mohammed's announcement of rescheduled theatre dates would suggest that pre-production is now underway, and contracts are being signed for a return.
