It was reported Wednesday that Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady had "zero interest in hiring" Bill Belichick as the club's next head coach even though the two spoke at some point after Belichick became the head coach of the North Carolina football program and before Las Vegas hired Pete Carroll.

The Las Vegas Raiders are hiring Pete Carroll to be the team’s head coach, according to reports. ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero first reported the news. CNN has reached out to the Raiders for comment.

Over the past few hours, the Raiders ended their searches for a general manager and head coach. Reports have John Spytek signing a five-year deal to become the next GM and Pete Carroll signing a three-year deal to become the next head coach.
