Google is marking the Year of the Snake with an animated Google Doodle of the classic Snake game. The search engine giant said it is celebrating the Lunar New Year with the playable doodle which it said "transports people back in time.

The Wolf Moon, named after the howling wolves heard during January's cold winter nights, adds a cultural element to the game. It symbolises survival and the instinctive perseverance of wildlife, creating an immersive experience for players. This reference also encourages users to "join the pack" and embrace the challenge.
