Air India is facing fresh turbulence following last week’s fatal crash as additional safety inspections on its Dreamliner fleet have led to flight delays, cancellations and growing passenger anxiety.

India’s government is urgently inspecting all Boeing 787s after a devastating Air India crash that claimed at least 270 lives this week, the aviation minister said on Saturday, adding that the authorities were investigating all possible causes.

In response to heightened safety concerns, DGCA confirmed that comprehensive surveillance of Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet revealed no significant safety deviations.
