Hannah Hidalgo led the Fighting Irish (18-2, 9-0 ACC) with 30 points, including 16 in the third quarter. Olivia Miles scored 15 points while Liza Karlen chipped in 12. Virginia Tech (14-7, 5-5 ACC) led the majority of the first half, but Hidalgo and the Irish pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Hokies 25-14.
