Toyota reported record-breaking global output and sales for January-June 2025, driven by strong demand in North America, Japan, and China.

The plant, operated by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Czech Republic, will produce approximately 100,000 EVs annually.

Toyota said on Wednesday its worldwide output and sales reached record highs for the first six months of the year, fueled by strong demand in markets including North America, Japan and China.

Toyota will begin producing electric vehicles in Europe from 2028, starting with an electric SUV at its Czech plant in Kolín.
