The second trailer for The Monkey has debuted. The upcoming comedy horror movie directed by Longlegs' Osgood Perkins is based on "The Monkey," a short story by Stephen King, which revolves around a cursed toy monkey responsible for a slew of terrifying murders.

When it came time to make the Stephen King adaptation The Monkey, Longlegs director Oz Perkins drew on tragedies from his own life.

Stephen King announced on his Bluesky profile that he will not be voting for the Oscars this year due to the L.A. fires. He also believes the Oscars ceremony should be canceled amid the devastation in Los Angeles.

Stephen King is not only declining to vote for this years Academy Awards nominees, but he doesn’t believe that the ceremony should happen.
