It was reported Wednesday that Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady had "zero interest in hiring" Bill Belichick as the club's next head coach even though the two spoke at some point after Belichick became the head coach of the North Carolina football program and before Las Vegas hired Pete Carroll.

The Las Vegas Raiders made a big statement with their latest hire. Hiring Pete Carroll as their next head coach marked the first significant move of the Tom Brady era, and it certainly didn’t go unnoticed.

Carroll's energy is known and obvious, but he cranked it up a notch while taking on the challenge of coaching the Las Vegas Raiders.
