A dead man was found hog-tied in the grass off a Queens highway Tuesday, according to law enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation. The discovery was made just feet away from the Clearview Expressway and Union Turnpike in Bayside around 9 a.

The grisly discovery was made just before 9 a.m. Tuesday in the weeds off a section of the Clearview Expressway near Union Turnpike.

According to the outlet, the body was discovered in a weeded area at around 9 a.m. by a driver who had pulled over to the side of the road after experiencing mechanical trouble near exit 2. Officers discovered the man’s hands and feet bound together and a source said the victim had apparently been shot,

First responders used bandages to wrap the fence to the teen's leg, and then onto the backboard, the FDNY said. Officials credited the boy with staying calm throughout the 10-minute process of getting him free, saying it made rescuers' jobs that much easier.
