A number of schools across Northern Ireland have been closed today due to adverse weather. A further weather warning for ice was issued by the Met Office for parts of Northern Ireland, which remains in place until 10am today, January 10. The warning is in place for Co Antrim, Co Down, Co Derry, and Co Tyrone.

A number of schools in the north and west have closed because of the weather. The PSNI urged road users are advised to exercise caution due to icy roads throughout Northern Ireland and some bus services have been affected.
