Suni Williams surpasses the most time by a woman on EVA during a spacewalk with Butch Wilmore outside the International Space Station.

NASA astronauts Sunita "Suni" Williams and Barry "Butch" Wilmore surely didn't think they'd still be on the International Space Station this long when they left Earth in June. In fact, they initially expected to stay for just eight days.

NASA's two stuck astronauts are taking their first spacewalk together, exiting the International Space Station almost eight months after moving in.
