Birdgetown Research has raised $19 million in a round co-led by Accel and Lightspeed to deploy AI agents for business decisions and M&A deals.

Bridgetown Research, a Seattle-based startup that uses AI to help investment firms and corporate teams supercharge their research efforts, raised $19 million in a Series A round led by Lightspeed and Accel.

Bridgetown Research has developed AI agents that autonomously execute research. Most notable amongst these agents are voice bots trained to recruit and interview industry experts, gathering primary data that can be analyzed alongside alternative data sourced from their partners.

Artificial Intelligence startup Bridgetown Research said on Wednesday it had raised $19 million in a funding round led by venture capital firms Lightspeed Venture Partners and Accel, with participation from a leading research university.

The company will use the fresh funds to further train its AI agents, broadening their analytical capabilities across multiple domains and strengthening industry partnerships to enhance access to domain-specific intelligence.
