YouTube TV and NBCUniversal are in a contract dispute over carriage fees, and the deadline to reach a new deal is the end of the month, Tuesday, Sept. 30. If a contract isn’t reached, NBCUniversal has threatened to pull its programming from the Google-owned YouTube TV streaming service.
"Google, with its $3 trillion market cap, already controls what Americans see online through search and ads — now it wants to control what we watch,” an NBC spokesperson tells The Hollywood Reporter.
