The Cowboys defense in 2025 could have a decidedly Chicago feel to it, at least based on the most recent hires to the coaching staff on that side of the ball. Whether or not that's a good thing may depend on what stats are being considered.

Matt Eberflus was identified as the top candidate for the Cowboys' defensive coordinator position before the team officially hired Brian Schottenheimer as their head coach and Eberflus is now part of the organization as well.
