People across the world have been experiencing a massive internet outage as many of the world’s biggest websites and applications have stopped functioning properly. According to
Fortnite, Roblox, Snapchat, Canva, Ring, Amazon and Wordle are among the popular sites that have gone down in some regions on Monday afternoon, leaving millions affected. The issue is believed to be tied to Amazon Web Services, a cloud platform used by companies to run their websites.
Roblox, Fortnite, and Palworld, along with several other online games and apps, have gone offline on Monday afternoon (20 October) as a major outage affects multiple parts of the internet.
A major outage caused by an issue at Amazon Web Services affected hundreds of websites, games and apps, including Amazon, Snapchat, Fortnite and several banks. Amazon says it fixed the underlying problem but a full recovery will take longer.
