Nonbinary and pansexual music artist Janelle Monáe tore into Nelly for having “sold out” by performing at a Donald Trump inauguration event. Monáe was performing a rendition of Nelly’s Hot in Herre at a Grammy’s after party when she stopped to tell the crowd she “used to like Nelly but then he went to perform for Donald Trump.”
