Coming off a Western Conference Finals loss with the Oklahoma City Thunder, superstar forward Kevin Durant made one of the biggest decisions in NBA history. Kevin Durant stunned the NBA when he signed with the Golden State Warriors in free agency back in 2016. The move was not popular among fans, with many claiming that Durant was simply chasing rings. However, it doesn't seem like the outside opinions of his time with the team weighs on the legendary forward all that much.
The Golden State Warriors were pursuing a move that would bring Kevin Durant back to the Bay Area before the superstar made it known that he had no interest in such a trade. Warriors brass pivoted and set their sights on Jimmy Butler and added him instead for the stretch run.
