On Thursday night, the Detroit Pistons took the floor in hopes of extending their winning streak to three games. Next up on the schedule was a meeting with Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers. The last time these teams squared off was back on November 29th in Indiana.

Things got a little testy in the second quarter as Pascal Siakam played with a dead ball near the Pistons bench and Isaiah Stewart took exception. Siakam took his time leaving the area, speaking to multiple Pistons on the way.

Known as the Dawg Pound, Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart have added their own chapter in the Pistons' storied history.

In the Pistons' win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Jan. 6, Hardaway helped Detroit avoid an embarrassing defeat by scoring 11 of his 26 points in the final period. His play down the stretch was similar to his performance against the Miami Heat on Dec. 16. He scored nine points in overtime, which led to the Pistons' 125-124 victory. Grade: B -

During Pacers Turner's interview with an Indiana's FanDuel Sports Network sideline reporter, Pistons backup big Isaiah Stewart jawed at the team that just beat his and had to be ushered by a fellow staff member. Despite playing 20 minutes, Stewart posted only three points.

Stewart shined in his time off the bench Thursday despite only tallying a pair of points, leading all bench players in rebounds and assists while finishing as one of two Pistons with a double-digit rebound total. Stewart has hauled in 10 or more boards in five contests this season, four of which have occurred coming off the bench.

Part of the victorious Detroit Pistons contingent that visited Madison Square Garden on Monday night, Stewart was afforded a chance to play in front of his hardwood idol and Knicks legend Patrick Ewing, who was one of thousands who witnessed the visitors' 124-119 victory.

Doormats and punchlines no more, the Pistons are adding themselves to the list of great surprises in the NBA this season. They’re now 21-19 after winning Monday night against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, meaning they’ll hit the halfway mark of the season with a winning record for the first time since 2017-18.

This defensive gem, the first of Stewart’s evening, came with seven seconds remaining in the third quarter as Cody Martin blew past Harris on the perimeter. Stewart rotated over from the opposite side of the paint, timed Martin’s jump perfectly, met him at the summit and stuffed his dunk attempt.

During a game between the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers, big men Isaiah Stewart and Myles Turner became briefly entangled. We have seen Stewart get in his fair share of dust ups during his professional career thus far.

Isaiah Stewart had plenty to say to Myles Turner after the Indiana Pacers handed the Detroit Pistons their 20th loss of the 2024-25 NBA season on Thursday, 111-100.

For as obvious and loud as the excellent play from the guards has been, the play from the forwards has been quietly putting in work as well. After only playing in four games during the first quarter of the season, Ausar Thompson logged 11 during the second, starting five of them.
