Police have arrested a fourth person in the hunt for robbers who stole valuable Romanian artefacts from the Drents Museum in Assen. The man, a 26-year-old from Heerhugowaard, was apprehended in Obdam in Noord-Holland province early on Thursday.
Dutch entrepreneur Alex van Breemen has increased the reward for a tip that leads to the authorities finding the Romanian heritage objects that were stolen from the Drents Museum in The Netherlands on January 24 to 25.
A fourth person was arrested on Thursday in connection with the robbery of the Drents Museum in Assen last month. The gold artifacts stolen in the burglary have not been recovered, and the hunt for another key suspect is still ongoing.
