Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Spencer Knight stopped 36 of the 39 shots he faced en route to extending his winning streak to two games against the Utah Hockey Club on Friday evening. Knight was dealt to Chicago last week in a move that sent Seth Jones to Florida.

After joining Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks, goaltender Spencer Knight has found out who will take up his spot in his former team, as the Florida Panthers confirmed a big trade in the NHL.

Spencer Knight spent the majority of his time off during the NHL’s break for the 4 Nations Face-Off back home in Connecticut. He took the week-and-a-half respite to catch up with family and friends, along with the occasional workout. Most importantly to Knight, though, his time at the rink was minimal.

Spencer Knight dropped a strong message to Connor Bedard and the rest of the Chicago Blackhawks after his sensational debut performance at United Center.

Spencer Knight got right to work with the Chicago Blackhawks. Knight started against the Los Angeles Kings in the goaltender’s first game since he was acquired in a trade with the Florida Panthers on Saturday night.

The goalie made his debut Chicago Blackhawks debut against the Los Angeles Kings at United Center on Monday, two days after being acquired in the trade that sent defenseman Seth Jones to the Florida Panthers.
