Much of Missouri is under a hazardous weather outlook and state authorities have urged the public to avoid driving in icy and snowy conditions.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol has updated their totals for incidents caused by Winter Storm Blair on Sunday Night.
No fatalities have been reported on Missouri roads, but nearly 300 crashes have occurred during a counting period related to Thursday night’s winter storm, the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote in a Friday evening social media post.

“Drivers need to avoid traveling until conditions improve sometime on Monday,” said MoDOT Chief Safety and Operations Officer Becky Allmeroth. “For the remainder of this weekend, travel should be limited to emergencies only. These difficult conditions will also delay response times for our crews and emergency response partners.”
