The collection, a bold fusion of cultures and styles, saw cherry blossom motifs adorning embroidered varsity jackets.
But for the much-hyped collab with The North Face, it was less gorp-tech and more gorp-fantasy; colours were calmer, richer and brighter. The Gucci house monogram was planted on The North Face's archetypal nuptse jackets.
