Russian President Vladimir Putin's special envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, is heading to Miami for a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, a Russian source told Reuters.
The news conference comes just before US meetings are held in Miami on the Israel-Hamas ceasefire plan and the war in Ukraine.

The U.N. passed the resolution on Thursday, with few countries—such as Russian ally Belarus, China and North Korea —voting against it. A representative of the U.S. delegation said its vote was not related to its stance on Ukraine or nuclear safety, but to the resolution's references to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
