Google has dramatically changed its tune on bypassing the Android lock screen. If you forget your lock screen password/PIN/pattern, a factory reset is your only recourse.

Screen Time also serves as a parental control system, since it can be used to place restrictions on what a child can access, who they can contact, and how long they spend on apps, websites, and more.

Choose "Screen Time." Make sure Screen Time is enabled and a Screen Time passcode is set by choosing the "Use Screen Time Passcode" option Tap on App Limits and Tap on the Add Limit option.
