President Donald Trump has ordered a freeze domestic and foreign federal aid starting on Tuesday in a sweeping attempt to stop government funding for "woke" causes that don't fit with his agenda.

The Office of Management and Budget on Tuesday morning sent out instructions to agencies for complying with a massive federal funding freeze.

The White House budget office rescinded its freeze on federal financial aid, lifting a pause that would have gone into effect next Monday evening.
