Bob: We started with a well-taken goal. Watford scored a good cup goal but we controlled the first half well and didn't get flustered. A good start to the second half settled us down which we needed and we controlled it. It was good to see some youngsters coming on. A home draw in the fourth round would be nice.

The eventual scoreline did not flatter Fulham. Fulham's victory owed much to their persistence, continually pressing in the final third in search of further goals. Rocco Vata netted a lovely opener, twisting and driving past the visitors' goalkeeper.
