They claimed center Vinnie Hinostroza off waivers from Nashville Wednesday, an addition to the roster they had room to make because winger Jakub Lauko went on injured reserve with a lower-body injury that’s similar to the nagging issue that sidelined him earlier this season.

Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has claimed forward Vinnie Hinostroza off waivers from the Nashville Predators and placed forward Jakub Lauko (lower-body) on Injured Reserve.

The Minnesota Wild added a new forward to their NHL roster thanks to the waiver wire. After the Nashville Predators placed veteran winger Vinnie Hinostroza on waivers, the Wild jumped on the available player and claimed him.
