Burgeoning tennis superstar Mirra Andreeva recorded her 10th straight tour victory to reach the semifinals of Indian Wells, defeating Elina Svitolina 7-5, 6-3 on Thursday.

Indian Wells 2025: 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva defeated World No.2 Iga Swiatek and booked a spot in the final of the tournament. Earlier, the Russian teen sensation also got the better of Elena Rybakina and Elina Svitolina,

Mirra Andreeva, the 17-year-old super talent from Russia, has stormed into the semifinals at the BNP Paribas Open. Already the No. 9-ranked player in the world, Andreeva dispatched Elina Svitolina 7-5, 6-3 to set up a tantalizing semifinal against Iga Swiatek on Friday. Both players have made it to the semifinal without dropping a set.

Aryna Sabalenka and Mirra Andreeva will contest the 2025 WTA Indian Wells final. The World No. 1 lost her previous title match at the desert in 2023. This is her third final of the season.

Russian teen star Mirra Andreeva advanced to the BNP Paribas Open final, beating defending champion Iga Swiatek 7-6 (1), 1-6, 6-3 in chilly conditions Friday night to become the tournament's youngest finalist since 2001.
