The Israel Defense Forces said the air force had launched strikes against missile sites in central Iran, as the Middle East conflict entered a fourth day.

The warning came on the fourth day of the conflict, when the Israeli military claimed it had achieved air superiority over the Iranian capital and could fly over the city without facing major threats.

After days of attacks on Iranian air defenses and missile systems, the Israeli military said its aircraft now control the skies from western Iran to Tehran.

The Israeli military warned on X that residents of Tehran’s District 3--a northern neighborhood that includes a hospital, a sports complex, a concert hall, a cinema and several hotels--should evacuate ahead of planned military activity in the area.

At least 24 people have been killed in Israel as Iran launched retaliatory airstrikes targeting civilian areas. A U.S. Embassy branch in Tel Aviv suffered minor damage.

Iran and Israel continued trading fire in a fourth day of armed escalations. "The residents of Tehran will pay the price, and soon," Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz pledged following reported Iranian strikes against Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Dozens of others were injured overnight across Israel, the authorities said. Israel was striking military sites in Iran and the four-day-old conflict showed no sign of slowing.
