Now, the so-called uncommitted Democratic voters who protested Harris and Joe Biden amid the Israel-Hamas war during the election are reckoning with Trump’s surprise announcement that he wants the U.S. to take full ownership of the Gaza strip, resettle nearly two million Palestinians in other countries and develop the land.

In a joint news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Donald Trump said he envisions that the US could take ownership of the Gaza strip.

“What Trump has done is bolster the mainstreaming of Kahanism, pushing us further away from what has to happen: prolonging ceasefire, releasing hostages and prisoners, rebuilding Gaza and Israel, and an agreement based on liberation and justice for Palestinians,” he said.
