Theater owners attending Universal's presentation in Las Vegas are the first members of the public to get a glimpse of the continuing story of the Witches of Oz.

Like a seed dropped by a skybird, “ Wicked ” stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo and director Jon M. Chu returned (presumably by bubble) to Las Vegas for CinemaCon, the annual convention for movie theater owners.

A lucky few got the chance to get a glimpse of that journey in the first trailer for Wicked: For Good at Universal's CinemaCon presentation on Wednesday evening.

Universal put forth one of the biggest marketing campaigns this side of "Barbie" last year for "Wicked," and it was rewarded with the biggest box office returns ever seen for a Broadway musical adaptation.
