Tropical Storm Dexter continues to move northeast, away from the United States, and is currently several hundred miles north of Bermuda. As of 5 a.m. Thursday, Dexter had sustained winds of 50 mph. Dexter will not impact North America as it heads northeast into the northern Atlantic Ocean.

The National Hurricane Center on Thursday forecast Tropical Storm Dexter to become extratropical, but continued to keep track of two developing Atlantic systems that could become the
