Four Chicago teens are charged with killing a coyote pup by shooting it with a bow and arrow, then stomping it to death.

The coyote was shot with a bow and then stomped to death, the Illinois Conservation police told ABC7, along with WGN-TV and Fox 32. Police said the animal’s body was removed from the scene and an investigation led to four teenagers being cited.

Four Chicago teens have been charged with conservation-related violations in the killing of a coyote earlier this month near the Mount Greenwood neighborhood, according to a statement from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
