Marvel's first family faltered in its sophomore weekend at the box office, recording a 66% dip in North American theaters.

Elsewhere at the box office, “Superman” descended to fourth place with $13 million in its fourth weekend of release. The Warner Bros. and DC Studios adaptation has generated $316 million domestically and more than $502.7 million globally to date.

Universal/DreamWorks' "The Bad Guys 2" opens to $22.8 million while Paramount's "The Naked Gun" launches to $16.5 million
