The Texas Longhorns' national title hopes ended on Friday night with a stinging loss to Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl. Steve Sarkisian's team was in position to tie the game late in the fourth quarter with strong 70-yard drive that got them all the way down to the goal line.

One play after the ensuing kickoff, though, Ohio State answered emphatically when quarterback Will Howard threw a short screen pass to running back TreVeyon Henderson, who did the rest with a 75-yard catch-and-run to put Ohio State up by seven to enter the first half.
