Civale walked four of the first seven hitters he faced in a 2-1 loss to the Texas Rangers on Sunday.

Aaron Civale joined the White Sox on Saturday, giving the right-hander a day to get to know his new Chicago teammates before starting for them after being traded from the Milwaukee Brewers.

Prior to exiting the game, the 23-year-old breezed through five-plus scoreless innings, striking out five and inducing 13 swings and misses on 81 pitches while allowing no hits and issuing four walks.
