Microsoft releases version 1.0 of the open-source Windows Terminal application following a year of development.

Microsoft reminded users that insecure Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 protocols will be disabled soon in future Windows releases.

Consequently, starting with the Windows 11 Insider Preview builds set for release in September 2023, TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 will be disabled by default.
