The driver of the four-by-four which smashed into a primary school killing two schoolgirls has been bailed for the second time after the Met Police rearrested her. Claire Freemantle, 48, is now due to report to a police station in late April.

Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau were both killed when a Land Rover drove through a fence and into their school during an end-of-term tea party.

Both eight-year-olds died after being hit by the vehicle, which crashed into the Study Prep school in Wimbledon on 6 July 2023. The incident occurred while the two girls were celebrating the last day of the summer term with their classmates, which had seen parents and pupils attend a picnic.
