According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, assistant coach Alex Jensen has accepted the job to become the next Utah Utes men’s basketball head coach. Utah fired Craig Smith, who was was in his fourth season in charge of the program, last month. He was 65-62.

Ten days after firing Craig Smith, Utah has landed its next men's head basketball coach. The school is hiring Dallas Mavericks assistant Alex Jensen, sources confirmed to CBS Sports.
