The Red Sox are calling up prospect Connelly Early to start Tuesday night’s game at the Athletics, according to a league source. The lefthander will be on the mound in place of Dustin May, who will go on the injured list.

The Sox will look to extend their winning streak to three games when they send Dustin May to the mound Tuesday. The righthander is 1-4 with a 5.40 ERA in six appearances (five starts) since being acquired from the Dodgers at the trade deadline.
