Alongside the Steam Machine and Steam Controller, Valve has also revealed the Steam Frame, a high-end standalone VR headset that also supports PC-streaming via a dedicated wireless dongle.

Valve made a triumphant return to the hardware market with the Steam Deck and its OLED-toting counterpart, and now it’s having another crack at virtual reality with the Steam Frame.

The Steam Frame, set to launch in early 2026, will run both VR and traditional Steam games locally through SteamOS or stream them wirelessly from a local PC.
