Amazon Web Services recovering from outage that caused disruptions worldwide

(Gray News/AP) – A massive Amazon Web Services outage caused major disruptions around the world Monday. While the outages lasted several hours, Amazon has said most systems should be back online and operating normally. The company reported that 64 internal AWS services were affected by the issue.

A mazon Web Services (AWS) has confirmed it is tracking a massive issue that has rendered large parts of the internet unusable. AWS says it has identified and fixed the main issue causing the disruption, but it could be some time before all affected services are back to normal.

AWS outage: Company says more issues are happening

Amazon Web Services says the issues that caused a mass outage have been “fully mitigated.” While AWS said that all services should be back up and running, “some requests may be throttled” while they continue to work on resolving the problems, CNN reported.
