COLUMBUS — A group representing rental property owners is asking Gov. Mike DeWine to veto part of Ohio’s new property-tax plan, saying a tax break for homeowners will come at the expense of renters.
There are about one million rent-stabilized units in New York City, and fewer than 25,000 rent-controlled units.
