Walmart has clarified the confusion regarding the new backlit remote for its latest Onn 4K Pro Google TV box.

Some early units of the Onn 4K Pro Streaming Device shipped with a remote control that doesn't have backlit buttons. Walmart says that'll change.

And both remote have the Find My Remote capability. Press the button on the back of the Google TV Streamer, or the front of the Onn 4K Pro, and the remote starts chirping.

The Walmart Onn Google TV 4K Pro is an excellent streaming box if you ignore its biggest selling point. For $50, you get speedy performance, lots of storage space, and a feature-rich remote control.
