Recently released Colts' quarterback lands with new team
Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Brett Rypien has landed with a new team. According to the NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Rypien was claimed on waivers by the Minnesota Vikings. The Colts released Rypien from the 53-man roster over the weekend to make room for defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, who was activated from injured reserve.

The New York Jets are continuing to evaluate rookie quarterback Brady Cook. The undrafted free agent completed 22-of-35 passing attempts for 188 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception in Sunday's 26-9 Week 16 loss to the New Orleans Saints.
