Mark Zuckerberg, one of Facebook’s founders and CEO of Meta, announced three new additions to his company’s board of directors on Monday. One of those elected was Dana White, CEO and president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Mr. White, a close ally of President-elect Donald J. Trump, further strengthens the social media giant’s connections with the incoming administration.

Mixed martial arts tycoon’s appointment to Meta board comes as Silicon Valley builds ties with incoming US administration
