The NBA on NBC reduced its schedule a couple of weeks during December, to make room for Christmas specials and the live finale of The Voice. But on Christmas week, NBA hoops are back in full force with a pair of double-headers in the lead-up to Santa's Christmas Eve flight.

Both the NBA Cup winners, the New York Knicks, and the runners-up, the San Antonio Spurs, are in action on Thursday, as well as their semifinal opponents the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder. No. 1 Pick Cooper Flag is facing off with another No. 1 pick in Cade Cunningham as the Dallas Mavericks host the Detroit Pistons.
