That means every time you boot your computer, you’ll have the option to choose which operating system to run. Right now the Remix OS for PC installer supports Windows 7 and later.

There’s always the Android-x86 project for that. But the latest Intel optimizations feature an interactive installer, support for Windows 8 dual boot, and other improvements.

And yes, you can install Android on your computer’s hard drive—but I don’t recommend even dual-booting this particular OS.

PC makers are increasingly pushing devices that dual-boot Android and Windows, and it appears that phone manufacturers will follow a similar path in the coming months.
